Announcing the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust 'Great Pond Safari'

Following an extensive review of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust's Education Service, the Great Pond Safari - a brand new programme for Key Stage 2 children - will be available during the summer of 2004.

The Safari is a six-week scheme of work that will place the pond at the heart of the curriculum. Full details, including the scheme of work, will be available on the www.wwtlearn.org.uk website from February. School visits to WWT centres will be used to generate ideas that can be used back in the classroom.

To improve communication between WWT and schools, a database of email contacts is being established to enable regular e-newsletters and other communications to be sent out to schools. You may register for this service in the news section of the www.wwtlearn.org.uk website or by emailing chris.francis@wwt.org.uk. Simply mention 'e-newsletter' in the subject line of your email.
