Findhorn Teacher Retreats/ Practice for Professional Well-Being

Findhorn Teacher Retreats was established to give teaching professionals space for personal and professional self-reflection and to effect a change in a culture that is prepared to sacrifice the health and well-being of its employees to the now consumer-driven market forces of education. We offer space, quiet and a facilitated retreat. This is a programme of activities that includes self-exploration through dance, art, free movement, groupwork and forms of inner, more meditative practice. We are part of the accredited education wing of the Findhorn Foundation and our retreats take place in the beautiful countryside of Findhorn and the Moray Firth. Are you interested in joining us to effect change in the education system? Starting with 'those who do', the teachers. We want to hear from interested professionals, practising or otherwise.

We are an accredited provider of Continuing Professional Development to the Scottish Executive.
